Taco Tuna Skillet
Ingredients1 package Namaste Foods Taco Pasta Dinner
¼ cup Namaste Foods Perfect Flour Blend
1 can tuna, drained
2 whole green onions, sliced
2 cups milk, any kind
¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)
3/4 cup red pepper, chopped
4 tbsp. butter, margarine or oil (or combination)
to taste salt and pepper
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain, rinse with cool water and set aside.
- While pasta is cooking, melt butter (if using) or add oil to large, non-stick saute pan over medium heat. Whisk in Perfect Flour and cook for a minute or so while continuing to whisk. Add milk, cheese and seasoning packet and continue to cook until sauce is creamy. Fold in red peppers, green onions, tuna and macaroni. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Heat through and serve. Garnish with fresh cilantro if you like. Serve with Namaste cornbread.
- Use about 1 cup of cooked turkey or chicken in place of tuna.
