Valentine's Vanilla Red Velvet Cake Heart Donuts

Makes 12 Donuts


1 pkg. Namaste Foods Vanilla Cake Mix
8 Tbsp. butter, softened (she uses dairy free)
4 Tbsp. canola oil
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup hazelnut milk
1-1/2 tbsp. red food coloring (may add more if desired)
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. distilled vinegar
* Glaze
2 tbsp. coconut milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 oz. cream cheese (she uses dairy free)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla


  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease your donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, pour in cake mix adding additional ingredients one by one, mixing to combine after each addition. Pour batter into your donut wells, filling to about 1/4 inch from the top. Bake for approximately 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool when done baking.
  3. For the glaze, whisk together milk, cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar in a small bowl. Once the donuts have completely cooled, dip them into the glaze, set on a wire rack, and top with sprinkles!
