Coconut Onion Rings

Ingredients

1 onion sliced into rings
1 organic egg
1/2 cup Namaste Perfect Flour Blend
1 Tblsp. chia seeds
1 teaspoon coconut milk
4 Tbsp. coconut oil
1-2 Tbsp. grass fed butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Aioli Recipe
2-3 Tbsp. yogurt 
red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

 

Directions

  1. Slice onion into rings. Mix egg and coconut milk in a bowl and set aside. in a large skillet on medium - high heat melt butter and coconut oil. In a separate bowl mix Namaste flour with salt, pepper, and chia seeds. Dip onion in egg batter then into flour. Place into oil once the oil is very hot. Fry on each side about 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Mix Aioli ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
