Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins

Like muffins from years gone by, Namaste Foods Muffins contain far less sugar than today's muffins ( which really are more like cake in a muffin tin). This chocolaty version is a big hit with kids, both big and little, and makes for a perfect lunch box addition or quick between meal snack.

Ingredients

1 pkg. Namaste Foods Muffin and Scone Mix
1/4 cup cocoa powder
2 eggs
1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup gluten free chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Combine all ingredients except for chocolate chips and blend well. Fold in chocolate chips. Divide batter among 12 muffin cups - use liners or spray muffin pan. Bake for 14-17 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Frost with your favorite frosting or eat just as is.
